Paul is now retired having previously worked as Deputy Finance Director for the NHS. Paul's skills and expertise include Board level governance, financial management, audit, recruitment and personnel

Nasreen Karim

Nasreen is Senior Partner at Platinium Partnership Solicitors which she founded in 2004 and now has offices in Bradford and Keighley. She set up a second business venture Hiba Hampers Ltd in 2007. In 2009 Nasreen was voted the winner of the Lloyds TSB Entrepreneur Excellence Award and shortlisted for Asian Women of Achievement Awards.

Paul Martin

Paul is Divisional Director for Brewin Dolphin one of the UK's leading wealth management companies. He is Chartered MCSI, Dip PFS, Cert PFS (Securities), and Cert CII (MP). Paul's skills include business consultancy, wealth management and complex project and portfolio management.

William Nabarro (Chair)

Date of appointment: 23 May 2017

William was a city merchant banker advising companies and other organisations on strategy. For 9 years he was a Non-Executive Director of ICAP plc, one of the World’s largest financial broking groups. He has undertaken various roles in public sector bodies and served as member of Council and then Treasurer of the University of Leeds. In 2001 he joined Jardine Lloyd Thompson plc (JLT), an international insurance broking group, serving as Group Commercial Director. He re-joined JLT in 2015 and is now Senior Adviser to the Group CEO, with specific responsibility for Group strategy.

Between 2010 and 2015, William first trained as a secondary school teacher and then taught English at schools in Bradford and Skipton.

Jeremy Townend

Jeremy is a Consultant in Health & Safety and Employment Law, working with both private and public sector clients. He is a visiting lecturer at Angela Ruskin University Cambridge, and Leeds Becket University, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors. Jeremy's skills and expertise include employment law, Health & Safety, Legal/HR management leadership and Board.
