Over the past 30 years I have worked in a number of schools in London and Bradford, teaching across the primary age range.
I have held Key Stage Co-ordinator posts and have worked both as a Lead Literacy Teacher and a Lead
Maths Teacher for Bradford Local Authority.
In 1999/2000 I was employed as a Senior Lecturer in
Maths Education at Bradford College and was
responsible for teaching on Initial Teacher Training programmes and producing teaching materials.
In 2004 I began work at St Edmund’s (a large inner-city integrated Nursery School and Children’s Centre Plus provision).
St Edmund’s is rated outstanding by Ofsted for school, early years provider and children’s centre provision. Amongst other projects I have led on the implementation of 2-year early education places.
I am currently Head of School.
