Listen to our Director Kathryn Loftus talk EALC and Act Locally on podcast!
Last week Kathryn was a guest on the ‘Frank and Stan Chat’ podcast
This is a podcast hosted by two education leaders Frank Norris and Stan Johnson. It spotlights innovative education projects. She spoke about the unique partnership offer the Education Alliance for Life Chances is bringing to Bradford, and the insights which provide the basis of Act Locally.
Frank Norris and Stan Johnson have been friends since 1995. Both have had successful and lengthy careers in education. Frank was a very senior Ofsted inspector for 11 years and the CEO of the Coop Academies Trust for 6 years; Stan worked as headteacher, a senior adviser with Lancashire Council and now leads an education consultancy in the North West. They are both supporters of EALC and Kathryn’s vision, describing Kathryn as a "strongly committed and principled leader" who "understands the complex nature of children's services and how best they are delivered" and provides good "reason for greater investment in community programmes".
In this podcast they touch upon a wide range of topics, including the early impact of the Act Locally convening partnerships, how the EALC partnership in Bradford is innovative, and wider issues in the education landscape.
